Privacy policy

1. General

1.1 The protection of your data is important to us. We comply with applicable data protection law when using and processing personal data (hereinafter referred to as “pbD”). With this declaration, we inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data we process and about the rights to which you are entitled as a data subject.

1.2 Certain terms used within this notice have the following meaning:

GDPR is a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the European Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, applicable since 25.05.2018.

Personal data (“pbD”) refers to information that can be attributed to an identified or directly or indirectly identifiable natural person. pbD includes, but is not limited to, name, address (including billing and shipping address), telephone number, email address, account information, date of birth, data issued by public authorities (e.g. driver’s license number, ID card number, passport number).

Data subject is that natural person whose pbD are processed.

Data processing is any handling of pbD, starting with their collection, arranging, changing, evaluating, querying, transmitting and storing up to their deletion.

2. Personal data processed by us

2.1 We collect, process and use your pbD only with your consent or commissioning for the purposes agreed with you, or if another legal basis iSd DSGVO exists; this in any case in compliance with applicable data protection law.

2.2 We only collect those pbD that are necessary for the implementation and processing of our services (contract fulfillment), and/or that you have voluntarily provided to us (reservation form). Essentially, this is the following data:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail
  • Telephone number

3. Rights of data subjects

3.1 As a data subject, you have the right to information about your stored pbD, their origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to rectification, data transfer, objection, restriction of processing and blocking or deletion of incorrect or inadmissibly processed data.

3.2 You have the right to revoke any consent given for the use of your pbD at any time. Your requests for information, deletion, correction, objection and/or data transfer, can be directed to the address listed in point 12 of this statement. If you wish to request access to your pbD, you must prove your identity to us. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your pbD by us violates applicable data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you have the option of complaining to the competent supervisory authority. In Austria, the data protection authority is responsible for this.

4. Data security

Your pbD is protected by appropriate organizational and technical precautions. These precautions relate in particular to protection against unauthorized, unlawful or even accidental access, processing, loss, use and manipulation. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain an appropriately high level of due diligence at all times, it cannot be ruled out that information you disclose to us via the Internet may be viewed and used by other persons. We therefore accept no liability for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g. hack attack on email account or telephone, interception of faxes, etc.).

5. Use of data

We will not process the pbD provided to us for purposes other than those covered by your order, by your consent, to comply with our legal obligations, by our legitimate interests or by any other justification in accordance with the GDPR.

6. Transfer of data to third parties

6.1 In order to fulfill your order, it may also be necessary to forward your data to third parties (e.g. IT service providers, payment service providers, tax consultants) and other service providers that we use in the performance of our activities and to whom we make data available. Your data will only be forwarded on the basis of the applicable data protection law, in particular for the fulfillment of our order or on the basis of your prior consent.

7. Disclosure of data mishaps

We strive to ensure that data breaches are identified at an early stage and, if necessary, reported immediately to you or the relevant supervisory authority, including the respective data categories affected.

8. Retention of data

We will not retain pbD for longer than is necessary or permissible to fulfill our contractual and/or legal obligations (in particular legal retention periods), to assert or defend against liability claims, or on the basis of another legal justification.
